Guide to transparent SSL & how you can migrate

Tom .

As we first mentioned at the start of the year, Certificate transparency (Transparent SSL) is Google’s initiative to prevent misuses of trusted SSL certificates by hackers.

Transparent SSL means that the Certification Authority that has issued your SSL certificate has “logged” or “registered” your certificate as valid for your domain in publicly available logs.

Anyone can check these records and verify the validity of any given SSL certificate. Learn more about Transparent SSL’s in our new beginners guide infographic and you can migrate to an SSL Certificate in 2017.
