Enabling SendGrid

If you’re having issues with getting website generated emails delivered to your clients (Order notifications, auto responders, etc) you can now set it so your whole servers mail gets delivered through SendGrid which is an SMTP relay service. Their packages start at 100 emails per day for free and go up to 40k per month from there.

From the STORM dashboard click on Configuration

Scroll to the bottom

Click Enable Sendgrid

At this point you will be prompted to enter your API key

If you have an existing API key in Sendgrid you should be able to grab it from your account, if not you can signup here: https://signup.sendgrid.com/

Signing up is fairly easy, just follow the steps and fill out the required info:

After filling out the initial page there is more info to fill in, you’ll want to make sure you select Using Our API for the “How do you plan to send email?” question

You should be redirected to this page, where you should click Start next to the “Integrate using our Web API or SMTP relay” option

Click Choose under Web API

Click Choose under the PHP option

If you want to give your API key a name, something related to the server you’re using it on would be recommended and click Create Key

This will then spit out the API key you need to paste into STORM to enable SendGrid server wide

Copy this key and paste it into the SendGrid box in STORM and then click Enable

If you need to Disable SendGrid for any reason you can just click Disable SendGrid
