Last night Tim and I presented for Nimbus to the Hertford Entrepreneurial Network for their 2013 Growth Plan Awards.
We submitted our entry back in January, and were delighted to hear that we had been shortlisted to the final three – getting the chance to present our plans to the Network, along with Oaks Hampers and Hertford Town FC.
Competition on the night itself was extremely tough – an inspiring and emotive presentation from Hertford FC started proceedings, and an exciting display of what we hope is a bright future for Oaks Hampers sat either side of the Nimbus offering.
After the presentations, the attendees voted for their choice of winner, along with Cllr Isabel Sigmac, Cllr Andrew Stevenson and Dan Peters from the Hertfordshire Mercury.
Hertford Town FC were the competition winners, and very worthy ones at that – an inspiring pitch, including impressive accumen, history, and a great sense of passion for the future of the club won over the room.
Our joint runners up, Oaks Hampers, delivered an equally inspiring and assured presentation – demonstrating a real passion for their offerings, and an equally impressive path ahead of them. We wish Lottie and Laura all the best for the future and hope to work with you soon.
Our thanks to Cllrs Sigmac and Stevenson for running such an useful and constructive competition, along with the Herts Mercury for their support.
